I love the simple look done for Lauren Conrad on the cover of May’s Allure.
Here is my recreation:
Face: Concealer, foundation, bronzer, transluscent pressed powder
Cheeks: Creme blush in Blossom
Eyes: Perfectly Neutral Palette (second to last shade in the bottom row), gel eyeliner in Ebony along the top lash line with a small wing at the end, curled lashes and a few coats of mascara, fill those brows!
Lips: Lip color in Truffle
(*Specific products mentioned are from Sonia Kashuk’s line and can be found at Target)
I love how simple yet versatile this look is. I went with a lighter version of the look because I don’t have plans today. However, it is so easy to change it up by either layering more or less to suit whatever mood you’re in! For more drama, go with a heavier top line on the eye or smoke it out. For a bolder look, replace the lip color with just about anything (my personal favorite being Azalea). Or skip the eyeliner altogether, use a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation, ease up on the mascara and have a quick look for a day outside.
I also love all three looks featured as Fresh Picks made up of floral shades and will be doing my own version of Poppy Field in the next couple weeks!
This looks great on you! Very fresh and light, great for spring!
Thanks! I love how easy it is to kick up the drama without extra products. I can go from “Mommy” to “date-night Wife” in no time!
