August is here and so is the end of summer. I have had so little sun this season that I haven’t needed to go a shade darker with my foundation. And with my skin tone, that’s pretty hard to do. So, it was exciting to find Jessin’s latest tutorial yesterday morning using my favorite shadow of the summer.
For the shadow, I stuck with the Bronzed Beauty palette by Sonia Kashuk (see swatches here). I went with a dark brown liner, bright pink creme blush, neutral lipstick and coral gloss. I love the way Jessin used her finger to apply liquid highlighter…a touch of light added to the faked summer bronze I should have by now!
Look at that glow… And you’d think the Saturday I just spent at the beach gave me that lovely color when, in all reality, I spent it under a tent!
