Paris at Night Eye Quad Review

I drooled over this Sonia Kashuk eye quad for far too long before purchasing.  I always thought that with such a yellow skin tone, I couldn’t pull off blue shadow.  And silver was simply out of the question!  But after playing around with color a bit more and realizing how user-friendly this line is, I decided to get it just for the blue color.

Don't these colors just scream, "Paris!" ?

And then I got it home and had to see the silvers, just as swatches…

Glitter (swatched very lightly), deep matte blue, light shimmer silver, medium shimmer silver

Lightly applied medium silver to lids, blue to crease, light silver as highlight

Paris Night, during the day

Now that I’ve worn the blue a few times and tried the silver.  I’m feeling much better about it.  It totally works as a daytime palette if applied lightly and used with a soft pink cheek and neutral lip.  I’d like to kick up the drama and add more pictures that show the colors with more depth.

Ditch it?  Like it??  Love it???

    • When I googled this quad for a link last night, your blog came up first 🙂 I’m a die-hard Sonia Kashuk fan since she gave me under-eye concealing tips. Completely changed my self-esteem! And thanks for the compliment on my hair, came at just the right time. I cut it the other night and it’s a bit shorter than I wanted so it’s being uncooperative. I see lots of bangs-clipped-back days in the next couple weeks, hahaha
